Located in the scenic Astore District of Gilgit-Baltistan, Minimarg Domail and Rainbow Lake are among Pakistan’s most breathtaking hidden treasures. Nestled near the Line of Control (LOC), these pristine landscapes are accessible through Astore Valley via the mesmerizing Chilum route and Burzil Pass.
Minimarg Domail is a lush, secluded valley blanketed with pine forests, wildflowers, and glacial streams. With panoramic views of snow-covered peaks and a serene atmosphere, it’s a dream destination for those seeking peace and raw natural beauty.
At the heart of Minimarg lies Rainbow Lake, famous for its vibrant reflections that resemble a rainbow under sunlight. Its turquoise waters, surrounded by alpine meadows and towering mountains, make it a haven for photographers and nature lovers.
Due to its proximity to the LOC, a special NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the Pakistan Army is mandatory for all non-locals. This limited access has preserved the untouched charm of Minimarg Domail and Rainbow Lake, making the journey even more exclusive and rewarding.
